Anthony Frank Hawk abstracts and destabilises a culturally fixed skateboard graphic, reworking it through gesture, distortion, and removal. What remains is not a tribute to performance or celebrity, but a study of memory, branding, and the mythology of progression.

Hand-painted directly onto an 8.2” skateboard deck, the surface bears the marks of process rather than perfection. This is not a functional replica — it is a transformed object, repositioned from commodity to artefact.
